My name is Atonu Pal, PhD . I am a researcher, advocate, father, and husband. For more than a decade, my wife — referred to here as Mrs D — and I have been fighting to correct serious misconduct by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). That misconduct has caused profound harm to her safety, reputation, health, and to our family life.
The purpose of this website is to seek accountability from the Metropolitan Police Service for the documented misconduct that has devastated my wife’s life and left our family in ongoing harm. We are publishing our case because every formal route has failed, and transparency is now our only remaining avenue.
This page explains how a Metropolitan Police officer created false personal data about my wife, how that data was circulated and relied upon, and how it led to years of anti social behaviour, violent hate crimes, reputational damage, legal injustice, and institutional failure. What follows is a chronological account of what happened to our family — and how every oversight body failed to act.

A Metropolitan Police officer PC Martin 411YR created a wholly false and defamatory Criminal Intelligence report (CRIMINT 00326717) about my wife. He entered on the police system a series of fabricated highly defamatory statements about her. This fabricated profile was retained for six years, shared with third parties, and used to discredit her whenever she sought help.
This false data misled Haringey Council and the police themselves, causing my wife to be viewed as disreputable. As a result, we were subjected to three years of severe antisocial behaviour. My wife became a target for racist abuse, threats to kill, and ultimately violent hate crimes — including a grievous bodily harm attack.
Because officers relied on the false Intelligence report, every one of these crimes was closed with No Further Action. The police failed in their primary duty to protect her, and the false data directly contributed to her being left unprotected and in danger.
Anti‑social behaviour (2013–2016): When we sought help, the council refused to act because they had been misled by the false CRIMINT report.
Violent hate crimes (2016): My wife suffered multiple hate‑motivated attacks, including a grievous bodily harm (GBH) assault that caused permanent injury. Every investigation was closed as No Further Action because officers relied on the false intelligence.
ICO Decision (2023): The Information Commissioner’s Office confirmed that the MPS breached the Data Protection Act by processing inaccurate personal data about my wife. The police have never acknowledged this or taken responsibility.
My wife had to endure three violent hate and grievous bodily harm attacks with permanent injury. Her reputation has been destroyed. Our family life has been shattered. The institutions designed to protect citizens have instead failed her at every stage.
